BBB and J.D. Power Collaborate to Provide Consumers with Trusted Online Resources for Finding Reliable Businesses and Services

Better Business Bureau and J.D. Power and Associates announced a new online content sharing agreement to help consumers research and identify trustworthy businesses such as car dealers, insurance agents, builders and movers.

“For nearly 100 years, BBB has been the organization consumers turn to for help with identifying trustworthy businesses,” said Stephen A.  Cox, President and CEO of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. “J.D. Power’s research and evaluations are a natural complement to the information BBB provides online and now consumers can conveniently get the expertise and guidance of both organizations on either Web site.”

“J.D. Power and Better Business Bureau are working together to help consumers make more informed purchase decisions based on the voice of the customer,” said Peter Marlow, vice president and general manager of corporate communications and marketing at J.D. Power and Associates. “At a time of heightened consumer sensitivity related to product and service quality and customer satisfaction, we are pleased to be working with BBB to bring trusted ratings and relevant ownership information to consumers.”
